Aftermath

The “Aftermath” photo project was born out of a desire to create something unique for those models who, for various reasons, hadn’t yet taken part in my longest-running project, “BrotherHOOD.” While keeping the cinematic, theatrical style that defines much of my earlier work, “Aftermath” explores a different visual narrative – a world after the final clash, where the wounds still bleed and the armor bears the weight of survival.

The models are stylized as medieval warriors, caught in a moment of stillness after the chaos of battle. Each photo draws on the aesthetics of fantasy and epic cinema, blending detailed costume styling with dramatic lighting and advanced digital post-production. The use of theatrical makeup – an essential element of my visual storytelling – helps emphasize not just the physical toll of war, but the emotional intensity that lingers in its wake.

“Aftermath” is less about the action, and more about what comes after it – the silence, the scars, and the resilience. It’s a tribute to strength not in the act of fighting, but in the moments of reflection that follow.
